One Note of Thanks:

"My wife and I are completely shocked and extremely grateful to find out that our family was chosen to have the remainder of our bill paid off for our daughter Kelsey's surgery at CHOP. The bill came at a time when I had been laid off from my job and we were struggling to pay the balance. We greatly appreciate your generosity."

Financial Summary

For Fiscal 2023 (ending June 30, 2024), The Phyllis Recca Foundation finished the year with assets of $292,220. Expenses for the year totaled $64,483 of which $53,800 (82%) was for charitable grants and $1,183 (2%) for taxes, legal and accounting fees. Unfortunately we experienced fraud when one of our donation checks was stolen from the US Mail system and the amount and payee changed. These funds ($9,500, 14.7% of expenses) have since been recovered and will appear in next year's financials. Had this fraud not occurred the charitable grants percent would have been 98%.

Since its founding in 2000, the Phyllis Recca Foundation has donated $335,771 to The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. An additional $228,851 has been donated to other organizations for education and community programs. Some of these organizations include:
